Sylvester Stein Fellowship

The Fellowship was set up in 2016, from money donated by friends and family of Sylvester. It is used to support the development of  southern African journalism with a focus on the promotion of human rights and social justice in the region. You can help support pioneering and courageous journalism in southern Africa by making a donation to the Sylvester Stein Fellowship fund.

Are you eligible?

Small investigate journalism undertakings in southern Africa by established journalists, whose projects can make an important impact for democracy, transparency and accountability.
