Biography
Zenzile Mhlanga is a Masters Candidate at Stellenbosch University, who is dedicated to enhancing Engineering Education for immigrants and students from marginalised communities. Her roles as a Teacher’s Assistant and intern at a Transport Engineering firm have provided her with valuable insight to addresses the challenges students face in understanding concepts and navigating the transition to the Civil Engineering Industry. Her research focuses on equitable methods to bridge the knowledge gap for diverse students. She is committed to accessible and inclusive education and in particular helping black female immigrants in other Southern African institutions in STEM.
