Yvonne Kabombwe is a lecturer at the University of Zambia. She teaches History Education. She holds an MA in History and MEd in Curriculum Studies. She believes that narratives in the school curriculum matter, especially the narratives in the history curriculum. She is currently studying for her PhD at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, “South Africa in History Education”. She hopes to inspire positive debates and research among scholars in the field of History Education in Zambia so that learners can have a history curriculum that is relevant in schools.
