Trust Mambane

Biography

Trust Mambane holds a BSc in Biochemistry and Microbiology from the University of Venda and is currently an MSc in Biotechnology candidate at the University of Johannesburg. He completed his Honours in Microbiology at the University of Venda. His passion for tuberculosis (TB) research stems from witnessing its devastating efforts on impoverished communities, particularly his own. He also served as a laboratory demonstrator during his Honours year, gaining valuable experience in scientific research. Trust aims to contribute to the World Health Organisation’s End TB Strategy, which seeks to end the global TB epidemic by 2035.
