Biography
A versatile, communications lead and human rights attorney with cross cutting skills spanning law, policy, campaign coordination, media liaison, program management and reform advocacy. He has worked many years as a Communications Specialist multi-tasking with litigation, wherein he defended human rights defenders in court. He has worked in Policy and Law across a wide range of themes and target groups. Diversity Equality and Inclusion policy and mainstreaming work he has done encompass disability rights, LGBTIQ+ rights, sex workers rights, and advocacy on criminalization of key populations and HIV.
He has increasingly become recognizable as an expert on criminal and coercive laws in health care in my country. He has gone beyond advocacy for women’s rights to be an ardent supporter of feminism! He has developed skills in creative presentations, writing, media engagement, policy analysis and publicity management. A partnerships practitioner with nationwide movement building experience across sectors such as Disability; LGBTIQ; Women; Youth and CBOs on health, HIV and Residents Associations. His current work in Reform Advocacy places him as Program Lead on advocacy that seeks to cultivate participation rights giving them prominence and making sure they are meaningfully enjoyed by every citizen in accordance with the Constitution.
