Thandile Chinyavanhu is an environmental and social activist who advocates for progressive climate and energy policy and an intersectional approach to the climate crisis and the just energy transition. She is a skilled climate communicator who employs systems thinking to impress the urgency of the climate crisis. She advocates for a multi-disciplinary approach to addressing the climate crisis. She is studying towards a Masters in Urban Studies: Sustainable and Energy Efficient Cities at the University of Witwatersrand to address the intensifying nexus of socio-economic and environmental pressures in urban areas. She aspires to build more resilient urban futures in Africa.
