Biography

Thabiso John Mlambo Thabiso is a passionate designer and educator from Johannesburg, South Africa. He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Industrial Design at the University of Johannesburg. His research focuses on developing affordable and sustainable below-the-knee prosthetic limbs for low-income individuals, using locally sourced materials and manufacturing methods. Driven by a commitment to inclusive innovation, Thabiso aims to bridge design, education, and social impact to improve accessibility and transform lives in South Africa’s healthcare sector.
