Tendai Machaya is a Zimbabwean who holds a Master of Science degree in Counselling Psychology and is pursuing a PhD in Psychology at the University of Johannesburg. In addition to his studies, he works as a Counselling Psychologist in Malawi, applying his expertise to help individuals navigate their mental and emotional challenges. With a focus on Critical Positive Psychology (CPP), he specializes in measuring psychological well-being within specific contexts. He promotes mental well-being and indigenous psychology through research and practice. He hopes to contribute to developing culturally embedded and context-informed psychological measurement tools.
