Tembisa Ntsini is an intersectional scholar studying towards an LLB degree at the University of the Western Cape. Tembisa has always been passionate about justice, but witnessing her brother’s unlawful arrest ignited her interest in human rights law. She is presently the Proctor’s Team student representative under the Black Lawyers Association and is dedicated to various public interest initiatives that educate poor communities about the law. Tembisa believes that transformative constitutionalism is integral in establishing a transformative and decolonized legal system. Her interests lie in litigating in gender and sexuality cases to advance the plight of marginalized bodies. Tembisa loves theatre and jazz and wants to use the law to prevent the exploitation of creatives.
