Biography
Stanley Dzimadzi, a passionate advocate for resilient cities, tackles the challenges of Malawi’s informal settlements. With a passion for Southern Urbanism and armed with a Water Resources Management degree, he tackles challenges with a community-first approach. As Project Manager, Stanley transformed data into tangible change, mitigating flood risks in informal settlements through strategic interventions. From clearing dumps to planting trees, he empowered residents through collaborative monitoring teams. Pursuing an MPhil in Southern Urbanism at UCT, Stanley seeks to explore the everyday experiences that shape African cities. His vision: to co-create resilient, equitable spaces where communities thrive, not merely survive.
