Biography
Simate Simate is a school teacher in Zambia. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education, an MA in International Child Studies and an LLM in International Human Rights Law from the University of Leeds. He was previously the recipient of a Chevening Scholarship and a Disability Rights Scholarship. Simate’s research and professional interests are in the area of disability rights, and he has assumed positions of leadership in disabled people’s organisations including serving as Secretary General of the Deafblind Association of Zambia.
