Shingirai Miranda Katsinde

Biography

Shingirai completed her BPharm degree at Rhodes University in 2014.  Her area of focus is the promotion of breastfeeding in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa, using a culturally sensitive and participatory approach. She will be developing manuals for community care workers so that they might implement breastfeeding activities with women in rural areas. Hoping that her work becomes influential, Shingirai wants to work with organisations that promote child health and wellbeing in Africa.
