Refiloehape Sesinyi

Biography

Refiloehape Sesinyi is a social work graduate from the National University of Lesotho. Her own experiences as a woman with visual impairment, together with the injustices she witnessed women and girls with disability face in her practice, inspired a deep desire to see women with disabilities receive equal opportunities and be empowered in terms of Sustainable Development Goal 5. She believes that becoming a gender expert will put her in a position to have greater influence on development strategies that include and aid disabled women and girls to have meaningful participation in society.
