Qhayisa Pretty Nota
Biography
Qhayisa Nota is a dedicated fourth-year Law (LLB) EXP student at the University of Fort Hare with a passion for specializing in human rights law. Her academic and research interests focus on human rights advocacy, social justice, and international law. She actively engages in community initiatives through organizations such as the Amazon Leadership Initiative and JCI. As deputy chairperson of the AUSP, Qhayisa fosters teaching high school students career development while exposing them to the law and their rights. Passionate about legal empowerment, she aspires to become a leading human rights lawyer, using her expertise to advocate for marginalized communities, schools and workplaces while promoting equality.
