Pretty Mubaiwa

Biography

Pretty is pursuing her PhD in Public law, specifically looking at Human Rights, Modernity and Culture. Her research interests are rooted in advocating for gender equality, ending gender based discrimination and violence against women. She is passionate about African women’s development and the improvement of their position as full citizens, and believes the law can and should be used as a mechanism to achieve gender empowerment in our lifetime. Pretty aims to become part of the next generation of socio-legal experts in Africa.
