Biography
Phindile Sithole is a PhD scholar at the Environmental Learning Research Centre (Department of Secondary and Post-School Education) at Rhodes University in Makhanda, Eastern Cape. Her research focuses on skills development approaches that advance and support aquaculture development for the local food economy. Beyond her research, she is passionate about working collaboratively with young people who are learning and working informally. She is working with young people to map the green learn-to-earn pathways and support their learning outside the formal skills system.
