Biography
Owam Hlomendlini is pursuing his LLB degree at the University of Fort Hare. He has a strong interest in public law, particularly international humanitarian law and children’s rights. His academic and professional interests are shaped by a commitment to social justice, access to justice, and human rights advocacy. He has gained experience as a Legal Skills Facilitator, a Research Officer with Students for Law and Social Justice, and through vacation in law firms. Actively involved in tutoring and student leadership, Owam hopes to pursue postgraduate studies and contribute meaningfully to advancing human rights and equality in South Africa.
