Biography
Nonhlahla Matamela is an LLB student at the University of the Western Cape. She is studying law because of her personal experience of injustice and rights violation. She wants to ensure that people’s rights are respected and protected, and hopes to be able to be the voice of the voiceless, using law as a tool especially in poor communities. She wants to be at the heart of the movement that eradicates social injustice and inequality in South Africa.
