Biography

Nondumiso Dlamini is a Masters candidate at UCT studying Public Health in the Social & Behavioral Sciences track. In 2021, she worked closely with NGOs that dealt with disabled people’s accessibility to healthcare services. This led to an interest in increasing awareness of healthcare accessibility. Nondumiso works as a research assistant for ongoing TB clinical trials at the Research Centre for Adolescent and Child Health (REACH) within the Faculty of Health Sciences to understand how to conduct research in primary health centres and to use these skills to conduct ethical research. This will enable her to create relevant national policies for change towards inclusive healthcare.
