Biography

Nic (she/they) is a pupil advocate (pupil barrister) at the Pan African Bar Association of South Africa (PABASA) as well as the regional lead of the Afronomicslaw Academic Forum in Southern Africa. Prior to joining the Bar, Nic spent six years doing socio-economic rights research and community organising with various social movements in the Global South. The LLM in Economic Regulation will allow Nic to further interrogate the impact of economic law and policy on socio-economic rights fulfilment, through both litigation and policy development.
