Natalie Bianca Alexander

Biography

Natalie Bianca Alexander is passionate about applied statistics and computer science to solve medical problems. Currently pursuing her PhD in Computer Science at UCT, she is dedicated to advancing research at the intersection of technology and healthcare. As an active member of the AI community, Natalie serves as an organiser for the Deep Learning IndabaX South Africa conference, which connects students, experienced researchers, and industry professionals. Additionally, she is involved with the Women in Coding Society at UCT & the Women in AI SA Society, which promotes inclusivity in tech. Natalie’s mission is to empower young women from disadvantaged communities to pursue STEM careers.
