Biography
Anele holds a Bachelors in Psychology from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. Currently, Anele serves as a Clinical Psychologist Intern at Fort England Psychiatric Hospital, providing mental health care services to the Grahamstown community. He plans to develop his career working in public hospitals and collaborate with civil society to promote mental health. His current research focuses on the integration of Psychology and Indigenous Knowledge Systems (IKS), and the traditional Initiation practice of Ulwaluko KwaXhosa.
