Mpikelelo Mpawusi Maseko

Biography

Mpikelelo Maseko is a Community Psychologist and activist-scholar based at Midlands State University in Zimbabwe. He is passionate about action-oriented social justice research. Mpikelelo is also a volunteer programme coordinator for the Young People Mental Health Trust, an organisation focusing on mental heath among young people. He holds an MSc in Community Psychology and is currently doing a PhD in Community Psychology on disability, decoloniality and ableist normativity. He hopes his research will make valuable contributions that will foster social transformation and second order change that results in the empowerment and social inclusion of people with disabilities.
