Biography
Mpho Malangeni is a third-year LLB student at the University of Fort Hare, with a passion for human rights and international law. Raised in Soweto and motivated by personal experiences of hardship and resilience, she aims to use law as a tool for social justice, focusing on empowering marginalised and vulnerable communities. Mpho serves on the research committee of the SAWLA, a society that advocates for the protection of women’s rights. Deeply concerned about the lack of awareness of human rights among disadvantaged populations, she wants to foster an inclusive society where everyone understands and asserts their rights.
