Biography
Mirriam is pursuing her LLM in order to utilize her skills and experience to advocate for the rights of children. Her aim is to start her own NGO which will promote educational awareness on children’s rights and seek to empower and provide psychosocial support to children in underprivileged areas. Mirriam volunteers at Ekuphileni Children’s Home and SHAWCO Education, a UCT programme providing tutoring support to children in the Cape Flats.
