Biography

Minkateko Ndlovu is passionate about mental health, especially in children and adolescents. Her long-term ambition is to contribute to reducing the mental health burden in low-and middle-income countries. Minkateko completed a BA Honours (Psychology) and MSc (Med) in Neuroscience (Psychiatry), and she is currently pursuing an MA in Clinical Psychology. Minkateko’s current research focuses on improving access to interventions for children with autism and their families in low-resource South African environments. She hopes to work in the public mental health sector and continue to conduct clinical research to inform her practice and contribute to knowledge production
