Malonje became deaf aged four and struggled during his primary and secondary education to engage in lessons due to inadequate resources. During his MSc in Inclusive and Special Education he discovered that inclusivity in education is possible and became passionate about advancing the rights of disabled learners. He works as the Inclusive Education Project Coordinator for Rural Areas at the Federation of Disability Organization in Malawi and in the future wants to contribute to national education, social and legal provisions for deaf citizens in Malawi.
