Malesela Mogatli Kopano is a Bachelor of Arts student progressing to an Honours in Film and Television, specialising in documentaries. As the Social and Welfare Officer of his residence, he demonstrates leadership. Through his founded digital media platform, MABHONGO, he actively preserves African stories from African perspectives through visual storytelling. He aims to tutor first-years to foster media literacy. Ultimately, he strives to become a filmmaker-lecturer, creating impactful documentaries that highlight underrepresented narratives and strengthen the African film industry.
