Biography

Qualifications: Master of Public Health, Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health, BSc (Hons) Medical Oncology & BSc Biochemistry. He has worked across the entire spectrum of health studies i.e. preclinical, clinical, laboratory and, more recently, epidemiological study. His career has been based in oncology research including interactions between cancer and infectious disease (especially HIV), these interactions form his interest. His current activities include revisiting his lung cancer project which he completed for his honours degree for publication purposes as well as his MPH project

Greatest Achievement

His MPH is his current greatest achievement, he spent years interpreting research results and applying the findings and through the skills from the MPH he has been able to generate evidence going forward.

Professional Interests

He is interested in organisations conducting population health studies with a strong interest in HIV and/or cancer. He is in the process of drafting a research proposal entailing survival research involving solid tumours and HIV in a primary hospital setup. He is also identifying any predictive sociodemographics for patients who arrive too late for treatment.
