Biography
Luke Stoffels is a prospective Master’s student majoring in philosophy at the University of the Western Cape. He is an ardent advocate for philosophy, maintaining that the critical engagement it encourages is foundational in addressing the prevailing inequalities and injustices both within South Africa and the world at large. This is reflected in his involvement with the Philosophy Department, Arts Faculty Student Representative Committee and the Catalyst Philosophical Society at UWC. His motivation stems from the value of education in equipping others with the skills to improve their lives, and thus, he aims to become an established academic.
