Biography
Lereko Gerard Mohafa is a lecturer in Chemistry Education at the National University of Lesotho in the Department of Science Education. His research interests include pre-service teacher training, teaching and learning of chemistry and science, using modern technologies in education, and teacher professional development. Driven by the need to help teachers adopt learner-centred pedagogies, he is pursuing a PhD at the University of Johannesburg. His PhD focuses on empowering chemistry teachers to develop self-determination and resilience in their practice. He hopes to significantly contribute to improving chemistry/science teaching, learning, and professional development for teachers.
