Lerato Silvia Mahau

Biography

Lerato Silvia Mahau, born in Gauteng, raised in the Free State, and currently based in the North-West, South Africa, is passionate about promoting decent work and community development. She is pursuing an MA in Labour Relations Management, focusing her research on temporary employment services in South Africa and the impact of the 2015 LRA amendments. Currently on an exchange programme in the Netherlands, she is gaining exposure to European labour law and exploring adaptable methodologies for South Africa’s labour market. Lerato aims to contribute to reducing unemployment through research and advancing fair labour practices.
