Kabelo Pule

Biography

Kabelo Pule is pursuing a Master’s degree in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) at the University of Pretoria. She is passionate about improving the community participation of children who rely on alternative modes of communication in low-income settings in South Africa. As a speech therapist at an LSEN school, Kabelo works with children with complex communication needs and their families, providing tailored support to enhance participation at school, at home and in their communities. She aims to contribute to existing research, influence policies that improve access to services and resources for children with communication challenges, and mentor future professionals.
