Biography

Joanah is Zimbabwe’s was the youngest Member of Parliament (at 25 years old) when she entered the National Assembly in 2018. She is currently serving a second term. She is an executive member of Zimbabwe’s largest opposition party, Citizens Coalition for Change Party, headed by Advocate Nelson Chamisa. In 2020 she was elected by a global panel as the One Young World Politician of the Year. The Award recognises five of the world’s most outstanding politicians between the ages of 18 – 35 years. Joanah sits on the board of the UN World Youth Group, the world’s largest group of elected and youth leaders consortium promoting social and political activism as an Executive Committee Member.
