Inezile Hlophe is an MA candidate in Drama and Performance Studies, specializing in using applied theatre to address teenage pregnancy. Her research integrates applied theatre and participatory action research to challenge societal norms, spark dialogue, and empower youth to shape their futures. A passionate mental health activist, Inezile champions cognitive, social, and spatial justice by positioning communities as both creators and researchers. Committed to youth empowerment, she uses performance to inspire, heal, and foster equity. Inezile envisions a world where theatre serves as a tool for justice and transformative change.
