Helga Machiridza

Biography

Helga is a vibrant lawyer who has worked in the Judiciary of Zimbabwe as an Assistant Master of the High Court and as a Magistrate respectively. Through her practice and experience, she developed an interest in Women’s and Children’s rights; with particular emphasis on the rights of Widows and Orphans. She is pursuing an LLM in Humans Rights Advocacy and Litigation. Helga is keen on becoming a Human Rights Advocate and an Academic Researcher in order to influence policy reform and legal systems in the Zimbabwe.
