Biography
She is a History teacher and PhD candidate in History Education at the University of Cape Town. She is passionate about contributing to the development of History Education in South Africa. Her thesis focuses on ways to support teachers and learners as they grapple with the complexities of studying History, and how this relates to present realities. She seeks to develop historical thinking skills to enable young people to engage in rigorous and meaningful dialogue about the past.
