Biography
George Kondowe is a human rights specialist. His research interest focuses on how the human rights framework can be deployed as a tool to address injustices. George worked with the Malawi Police Service and Malawi Human Rights Commission before he moved on to SOS Children’s Villages Malawi where he is a Programme Director. In 2017, he completed a Master’s Degree in Theory and Practice of Human Rights in the United Kingdom. He is pursuing a Master of Laws in Human Law because he wants an in-depth grounding in law to better contribute to addressing child rights governance issues in Africa.
