Felemont Banda

Biography

Felemont Banda is a specialist in land use law/urban law and governance. His research focuses on the intersection of governance, land use law, climate change, and economic, social, and cultural rights. He holds a Master of Laws and a Master of Science in Urban Planning and Management. He is pursuing a PhD in Law, concentrating on constitutionalism and urban governance in decentralised systems. He is a legal practitioner in good standing with the Malawi Bar, a land use law consultant, and an academic at the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences. He offers pro bono legal representation to vulnerable individuals in socio-economic rights.
