Biography

Elsie Bokaba received her BA in Humanities, BHSc in Psychology and BA Hons. in Philosophy at the North-West University. Currently she is a temporary lecturer in the Philosophy department at the North-West University while also studying towards her MA in Philosophy. Through her academic endeavours, Elsie promotes diversity and inclusion amongst students, environmental sustainability and mental health awareness in the discipline of African Philosophy. Outside of her professional sphere, Elsie spends her time engaging in philanthropic acts, to name a few: working with UNICEF-SA as a volunteer and juggling the dynamic challenges of leading her own NPO.
