Dr Kudzai Shava

Biography
Dr Shava began his career in special education. His research and activism interests include disability activism, human rights, social justice, and digital inclusion. His activism, research and advocacy work has focused on disabled people in Zimbabwe and the region, and he is deeply committed to the full inclusion and equal citizenship of people living with disabilities. Dr Shava was also initially supported to do his PHD, but when he was awarded a Fullbright Scholarship, he completed his PhD at the University of Illinois, Chicago.
Dr Shava is now also an adjunct Research Fellow with the Midlands State University and an international Disability Consultant. He has worked most recently for the Seychelles Ministry of Education to support inclusive education.
