Dr Elizabeth Bird

Biography

In memory of Elizabeth Bird, the Elizabeth Bird Resource Centre was established in 2011 at the University of Malawi. Elizabeth Bird was an inspirational teacher and education researcher, with a long history of involvement in African education projects. Her friends and family raised funds for the Resource Centre, which is now equipped with books, journals, computers and study space, primarily for students of the Masters in Education degree.
