Biography

Collins is a research scientist with a background in Sociology, Medical Anthropology and Epidemiology. His research interest is in maternal and child health, and he has worked and published in this area since 2009. In his PhD research, Collins is investigating the link between the use of medicinal plants in pregnancy and birth outcomes. He hopes his research will contribute towards attainment of Sustainable Development Goal 3, to “Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages” in Malawi.
