Clayton is a digital media enthusiast teaching broadcast media at the National University of Science and Technology. His research is on the inclusion of social minorities in both traditional mainstream and alternative digital spaces. He shares media skills outside the university with citizen journalists and emerging media entrepreneurs. His PhD study focuses on sexuality and the mediation of national identity in mainstream and social media narratives. He hopes to be a media consultant advising on content development, and focusing on public service broadcasting.
