Christian Minenhle Buthelezi

Biography

Christian Buthelezi is an LLB student at the University of Fort Hare. He is an aspiring lawyer passionate about human rights advocacy and believes in being a voice to the voiceless. This is through using the law and its instruments to bring about visible social change and redress the inequalities that the less privileged face daily. Christian envisions and advocates for a society protective of the rights of women and children with a focus on the eradication of barriers that infringe and violate core rights such as that of education, equality and dignity. Christian is active in human rights organisations such as Amnesty International  UFH, advocating for protecting human rights.  He is tasked with planning and leading campaigns to raise awareness and advocate for human rights.
