Biography

Wezi is a development practitioner who aspires to be an eminent jurist, contributing to the fulfilment of SDG4 on quality education and SDG 5 on gender equality to improve the working life of African women. Her PhD in Gender Studies research interest is African women in STEM (women engineers in power stations) in Malawi. She possesses an LLB (Hons) and a Masters in Women’s Law. She engages the community through research and advocacy on gender, law, competition, and consumer protection. Previously a humanitarian aid worker, she serves as a High Court Judge and a member of the Women Judges Association of Malawi.
