Anna Liisa Shangheta

Biography

Liisa Shangheta, from Okongo, Namibia, is a passionate ocean advocate and climate activist, with a M.Sc in Oceanography. She believes that interdisciplinary approaches are essential in finding solutions to complex and interlocking challenges such as the climate crisis, which is why she is currently pursuing an LLM in Marine and Environmental law. She hopes to make a valuable contribution to the UN Sustainable Development Goals by advocating for heathly oceans, ocean literacy and the preservation and equitable utilization of ocean resources.
