Biography
Amogelang Ramatsetse is a Master of Science candidate in Neurosciences at Stellenbosch University, investigating extreme weather events and mental health outcomes in South Africa. A Golden Key International Honour Society member, she holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Physiology and Psychology (NWU) and Honours in Physiology (WITS). She is a GCP-trained Research Assistant in the Psychosis Research Unit and contributes to psychosis research to improve our understanding of psychotic disorders. Through leadership roles across higher education institutions, she demonstrates a commitment to advancing mental health outcomes through research, community engagement, and academic mentorship. Her interdisciplinary background positions her to address critical psychological health challenges in South Africa.
