Biography
Aiden Schutte, from Johannesburg, South Africa, is a passionate advocate for educational reform and transformation, particularly in the field of history. His research interests centre mainly on topics of subaltern histories and searching for counter-archival approaches to studying and teaching the past. He is working towards his Masters in Social Sciences. Through his research, he aims to cultivate an understanding amongst colleagues and scholars of the power that history has, when channelled through the correct educational approaches, to address the challenges embedded within South African society.
