Biography
Aarti Bhana is a journalist at the Mail & Guardian. She is the Canon Collins Trust 2023 Mail & Guardian Scholar.
She is a journalist, researcher and writer and has experience in business journalism, general news, creative writing and solutions journalism – which she believes is a wonderful tool to help highlight and address pertinent issues in society. Aarti has always been interested in social justice and human rights issues and uses her various platforms to advance dialogues about these topics. Aarti’s Master’s research focuses on the historical and cultural dynamics in her hometown, Lenasia South.
